I have a FreeAgent Xtreme 1.5tb drive that fell off my desk and is no longer working. Will not power on, no LED, just kind of clicks. Took it apart and was wondering if I could take the drive out and replace it with another of the same drive. Wasn’t sure if there was something they do to the drive that go in the Xtreme’s vs. regular drives for your computer i.e. software, drivers. Cheaper to replace the HD itself than buy another external. Thanks
