Hi everyone!
We would like to introduce a public service function to this board. Sometimes users post a question that does not receive an answer. The forum software has a function by which we can use the forum's Advanced Search function to display all the as-yet-unanswered threads that have appeared in this board.
If anyone can take the time to answer any of these dormant questions, it would be much appreciated by everyone, especially the person who posted the question! Also, if you posted a question and another forum member answers you, please show your appreciation by kudoing the answer and marking it as an Accepted Solution. Click here to see the list of unanswered threads. Thanks!

I sent an email 9 days ago to support and still haven't even gotten a 'thanks, we got it' response.

Actually, you need to go back into My Cases in the left sidebar and Escalate your case to Support. As it stands now, you'll see it's still in Self-Service mode.
Did you post your question also on the forum?

Dear AlanM,
Thanks for your hard work as moderator of this forum! I am a relative novice to PCs and certainly to my Seagate Free Agent Desk.
I have a post that is still unanswered "Avira free AV warns that autorun.inf was blocked for your security."
I have replied to this post twice myself but only to post additional information.
Please, how may I get this post added to unanswered questions?
Also, is there a link to advice on using the forum?
