i installed seagate freeagent go 160gb all was good next day started pc and
found ceedo had vanished have sent emails to seagate support but despite
giving me ref no's annd a next buisiness day response time i have not received
an answer any advice appreciated

I have the same problem, the next day ceedo software had vanished off the drive. What have you done?

hi lukey
            nothing i can do contacted seagate support twice over  a 2 week period
got 2 report ref/numbers but absolutely no support this is the 1st & last seagate
product i'll be buying  lets know if you have any luck

I recieved an email with a link to some software, didn't help at all. This will also be the first and last seagate product I ever buy too.

I have been stuffing around playing with this for a while, I think that I have fixed my problem.

What I did:-

Format the External Hard Drive

Go to http://www.seagate.com/support/freeagent/mobile-recovery-efigs.zip

Save the file to your external drive and then run the program

Mine seems to be back up and running, for the moment anyway.
