I have a 500 mg free agent for PC , that has some info from PC on it. I now have a Macthat runs parrallels, windows xp on a mac. I want to hook up the free agent to do time machine backups on the mac side, what do I need to do?
You can setup the drive for that, but you would need to format the drive to Mac OS Extended Journaled. That would erase any data on the drive and then the PC would not be able to access the drive. Here is a link with steps to format the drive for Mac use.
