I was just installing a copy of xp on a friends computer and wasnt thinking. I had my external plugged in and i'm pretty sure I pressed l to delete a partition. Of course I had to do that not on c but on the external drive. Now on my comp my external wont register. I didn't format the drive as far as I know is there anyway I can undo that and wind up saving my data?
Yes, there is. You might try googling for free data recovery software. If you can't find any way to get the data off, Seagate does offer a data recovery service that's apparentally top notch.
