seagate freeagent desktop problems

We have had our freeagent desktop for a few years now, and it hasnt been used in about 2 months, i plugged it in today, and i got nothing out of it, no screen on my pc, no buzzing out of it, then i unplug it and plug it back in 30 seconds later.

then i get a clicking noise out of the top and still no screen on my PC, any help here, support gave me absolutly nothing
