I have 7 1080p movies in .mkv format that don't show up when I try and search for them on my FAT+.
All of my 720p movies are showing up and playing fine.
I have my FAT+ hooked up to my 1080p flat panel via HDMI.
They show up on my computer....I thought the FAT+ is supposed to play 1080p movies (.mkv)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any reason why they aren't showing up?
Do I need to convert them somehow?
Thanks for all the help.............

How big are your 1080p MKV files? Are they bigger than 4GB? Not sure if this is the reason, but just a theory; maybe the Free Agent Theater system operates like a FAT32 file system somehow and can't see files over 4GB. Hence the reason it sees your 720p MKV files since they are probably under 4GB, but won't see the 1080p files since they might be over 4GB. Again, just a theory and not 100% sure on this. Maybe others can chime in on this theory too.
I don't have a FAT+ yet, but was seriously looking into getting one soon. I'm debating between the FAT+, Asus, & Western Ditial Live systems and would like to also know the reason for your situation as well since I might also have 4GB+ MKV files that I would want to play over my home network.

Thanks

According to that info you listed, it states that the file size is pretty much 4GB (actually its lists it under general section as "File size : 3.99 GiB") so maybe that is the source of the problem somehow. Unless its not truly 4GB, but rather the 2GB as you state in the beginning of the post.
Also, seems to be a Blue Ray rip, correct? I'm wondering if the FAT+ doesn't decode Blue Ray rips yet & can't handle the codecs associated with Blue Ray. If not, hopefully a future firmware release will correct this.
