Hi, same problem here... slideshow freezes up after few pictures displayed (firmware 2.20 upgraded with cold upgrade).
Picture size 4-6MB, no special characters in the file name.
Slideshow will freeze no matter if played from USB stick or over the network.
My scenario is as following:
I have one folder with pictures (138 pictures total), the slideshow will freeze everytime on 11th picture when started on first picture!
When slideshow started on 2nd picture it will go until 40th picture before it freezes, etc.
So I think FAT+ with firmware 2.20 may have problem with picture buffering. Certain configuration of file sizes may overrun the buffer and freezes the slideshow?). This could explain why some of you after resizing the pictures, etc were able to solve the issue.
Also changing name of the picture(s) which freezed the slideshow (to change their diplay order) will help.
I hope Seagate will locate and fix this bug soon.
