I have a !TB shared music drive in my PC that has 459 folders that each represents a band or artist. I use my freeagent+ to stream music to my home theater sound system when not watching video. My problem is that while browsing the shared drive using the media player only 241 of the 459 folders show up. I've tried powering off and pulling the plug and 2 attempts at a cold method install of the firmware 2.20 and it doesn't change. All the folders are shared and do show on another desktop and 2 laptops over the home network. Is this a limitation of the freeagent+?
If not, any ideas?

It will be a big help if you include what version of the FAT+ firmware you are using....I won't be shocked to find out it's 2.23.

As I stated: 2 attempts at a cold method install of the firmware 2.20
2.20 is still installed. I did not try to go back to 1.55.

Since you have FW 2.20, you could log into the box and look at the directory dvdplayer to see if the FAT+ has read and store all the file names (see if you can find one that is in one of the the missing folders). I don't think there is a limitation. Once you've visited a network folder, the FAT+ stores all the file names locally.

I've looked at my NAS drive which has more than 450 folders and 2,000 files. They all shown up in the FAT+ with FW 2.20.
If you log into the box using telnet, navigate to the directory /tmp/netb/mnt, it will show the network workgroup that's visible to the FAT+ (it's mounted as a CIFS network file system).
