FreeAgent Theater and GoFlexTV

Hi,

after searching through this forum and googling for a few hours i understand there is no remote control app for android WITH the possibility of displaying a file list and choosing from it. *Right?*

However, now that i found out, there is even an official Seagate app for the iphone

i was wondering, if nowbody found a workaround for android. There are some older posts about the idea, but i haven´t found any solution till now. Have you?

No, there isn't an app that provides listings.  There IS an Android app equivalent to the one you linked to on itunes.  Do a search for FreeAgent Remote in the Google Play Store.  Works good from my Thrive with the GoFlexTV, nothing like a 10 inch remote!

Yep

I already know the one you mentioned. The point is, the Iphone App *can* list files! At least the files stored on the usb device, thats what the describtion says, (though i haven´t tried it. There´s a tiny button in the upper right corner...

Thats why i thought it can´t be that hard on android, if its possible on iOS.
