My GoFlex TV has a wired connection to my router, and my computer is connected wireless to the computer.
I've only been able to explore my shared folders if my computer has a wired connection.
Is it possible to explore the shared folders on my computer from the GoFlex TV this way?
If so, how do you do it?
Wire connected computer allows your GoFlex TV to browse shared folders on the computer, but not when it's wireless? This most likely indicates that the router's wireless security has prevented the GF TV to see the shared folders.
Make sure that the shared folders have permission for Everyone to read and write. Try this on a top-level shared folder that you don't need to protect first, and worry about the permission for each folder later.
Also, when posting about a problem, please be specific about what kind of computer and operating system version, what kind of wireless router and model, what kind of security protocol ... that way you will get help quicker!
