Hi Mike,
I am really amazed at what you are doing.
The easier way for me to add rss feed is through mediafly.

Are you doing anything different than this?

I guess you could use mediafly to add your own feed.

Yes... but if you install the recovery firmware there are some additional bugs. One being, that the player has problems with links. When you see of the new list, you'll notice a listing called MetaFeeds. Unfortunately, if you have installed the recovery firmware the link will not work. However, I have already determined a way around this bug, just haven't implemented it yet.

Yes you'll soon be allowed to add new feeds, but there are several fields more than just the URL of the RSS feed. For example, in the old RSS feed when you watch the NBC Nightly News about 3/4 of the way through the video starts to skip. This is because provider can not keep up with the speed demand. If found out how to fix this by buffering the video into the player's memory. With that being said, every stream pretty much needs a custom buffer cache setting so that you don't wait too long, and that buffer doesn't run out before the video has ended.
Also, I wanted to add some additional fields so that you could determine what kind of content you are requesting... like country, language, and video quality.
Got a lot going on right now, so I don't know exactly how much time I can put in to this project.... But it will get done eventually.
