I've been playing with the rss files inside the device and I've been able to modify some of them to display modified feeds and have been able to play videos from these feeds. I can make these files writable so you guys can edit them any way you like and package them in a new 1.45 firmware image. Sounds good
?

I'm sure that would be greate for others, however my new FAT+ came with preflashed FW1.55
Now I understand why it would be "nice" to have modifable FW to play with... oh well...
Sorry I've asked this others, but is there to set Fast Forward, now with FW1.55 it does 20 minutes segments. Also going with 1x, 4x, 16x or whatever doesn't make any difference and it is slow like molasses... Perhaps it is because I'm using shares (smb - windows 7)?

Hopefully for FW1.55 users, Mike will be back and will support his MikeTV server. ![]()

Using the default firmware 1.55, do you have the option to add your own rss feeds in Internet > VideoFeeds?

I'll check when I get home. BTW... would that be by pressing "i" when viewing RSS feeds menu?

Nope, I couldn't find any option to add RSS feeds.

Mike,
Can you share what you added to your webserver? Was the DNS IP you submitted pointing to the stuff you had on your server?
I run all my media from a FreeNAS server, which has a http server. Would be awesome if you could share your stuff so I could put it on mine.
I would greatly appreciate!

1.45 is doing it now
. I have an idea how to get it working in 1.55. That is, if the stuff I put in the firmware image flashes which hasn't happened yet. But I won't give up just yet...
