So far:

Sorting on Network drives is unavailable.

Still no option for player to decode only selected audio types (example AAC, FLAC, LPCM) yet pass thru others when using HDMI/SPDIF RAW modes.

No weather for Pacific countries (Maybe the Firmwares should be AMER, EMEA, ASIA, since the PACific in APAC is not given).

Otherwise it's nice to see a new stable firmware released

For what it's worth, the 1.45 firmware works for me in that I can finally stream from my hard drive. (Mac using EyeConnect.)

Hi!

1.45 firmware the sound on SPDIF/RAW in the Internet resources does not work. And very slowly the network and the Internet works. 1.26 firmware all works perfectly. Help to understand!!!!

My unit also powers down by itself if it is left unattended. In doing so it also corrupted the Theatre indexing folder on my USB attached 1Tb hard drive. I had to the delete this folder and re index it.

This drive takes about 10-15min to index. It is plugged into the rear USB port.

Recently I wanted to play MP3's on a 1Mb flash drive that I attached to the front USB port. I did this after powering down. When a powered on the FAT+ detected the new attached drive but then wanted to re-index everything including my still attached 1Tb drive. I had to wait another 10-15min before I could play the MP3's on the flash drive. This time delay is frustrating

 Have you tried switching back to HDMI connection to see if it works now? with the 1.27 FW, I had to set it to SPDIF RAW to get DD 5.1 sound, even though my connection is always HDMI. Now with 1.45, I've set it back to HMDI RAW and I got DD 5.1 as it should be.

STILL can't read .srt subtitles on foreign films. Major bug IMO.

Can't seem to connect to Internet. Dunno if that's me or it. It can see my local network, has a valid IP, and all laptops can connect, so I don't know what the issue is. I'll probably downgrade however that is done.

Has anyone had trouble viewing the weather using version 1.45? On my unit the page shows oval shaped balls. I guess there are to look like the earth? I have let the thing sit on the page it would update from the internet but after about 15 minutes I gave up. Any clues. Are your weather pages working right? Thanks

Weather works fine for me. It listed a few cities, like Los Angeles, New York... I moved the remote control cursor down and selected a city, pressed OK, and it displayed the current weather for that city. The earth symbols were there, one for each city.

Thanks for the information about the cities. That is what I thought should be on the weather page, cities. I guess mine is broke. I used the online update to get to version 1.45. Many say the online and automatic version updating does not work. I guess I am one of those folks too now. The FAT+ just became humbug. I will try the "cold update" and see if my problem goes away. Again thanks for the input.

1. Signed in to YouTube, but only one [out of four or five] playlists is shown.

2. While YT video plays in full screen [perhaps normal, too?] screensaver activates after a few minutes, cutting the video off.

3. This may be a one-off: 1.45 forgets sign in for YouTube.

4. Screensaver will not start when playing music unless one goes back to the main screen [this was different before and should be customisable].

5. Metadata for FLAC [OGG Vorbis comments] still not supported.

6. [M3U-]Playlist still not supported [or: how to make them work].

7. 1.45 rather unstable, sometimes the device will crash without any reason. I've had complete reboot as well as hanging [only way to get out: remove power plug].

8. With 1.45 the first few notes of a music file do not play.
