I was very happy with my FAT+ until it began stopping during playback in all video files (different file types) and displying an I/O Error message.
Firmware is 1.55 (it worked OK for several weeks)
Playing files from a Seagate Freeagent Go 500Gb docked HDD
How can I solve this?
Thanks

Did you add any files to the drive between the time it was working & when it began to act up?
You can try this, because there have been reports of the GO drives having problems when inserted in the GO dock on the FAT+. Undock the drive, then using a USB cable, plug the Go drive into the rear port.
If that doesn't work & you have the FAT+ pluged into a surge protector (power strip), unplug it from the power strip & plug it directly into a wall outlet.

Thank you very much for your reply.
in fact I did add some files (and delete other) before the FAT+ started to fail. Is there anything I can do when adding file to avoid this from happening?
I also do have the FAT+ plugged into a power strip, so I'll change it to the wall outlet.
Thank you once again for your help.
