FAT+ & Usb jump drive

does any one know how I can access the flash drive remotely?

How bout if i attach another usb portable hd, how can I see the contents remotely via pc?

Current setup

Workgroup setup so FAT+ can stream files from the pc, but i want to be able to save files to FAT+ which will have usb drive attached...

is that possible?

Re: FAT+ & Usb jump drive

Ok..I am confused now, so the only option we have is that the FAT+ can see the shared folders of the PC and not the other way around?

so what is this 'media server' thumbnail when you start up the FAT+.

How does one go about setting that up?  To me a media server is merely a big HDD with all types of media files attached via usb to the FAT+ or attached to the router (NAS)..

how does one set that up?

or are we only limited to picking up the Seagate freeagent 500gb GO HD and slap onto the FAT+? (meaning you will have to 'sneaker-net' it)?

The media server that you can connect to the FAT+ is running on your PC, or somewhere in the network.

Yes, the option Media Server is one-way just like the other 2 options (USB disk drive, and Network). For

example, you can set up a media server running on your PC as UPnP/DLNA type of media server. It's not just

a large HDD, there is a media server process(es) runnning on that computer to manage it.
