Well, dang-it!  Now it's back to $79.95 with free shipping!

I missed out on the best deal again!!!

Also, I could not get the promo code to work.  Even though I was signed in, when I tried to apply the code, it would ask me to sign in again.  Then would display the same page with the code in the code box but nothing deducted from the $87.39 ($79.95+tax).

Yep, it was just a 48 hr sale, you have to jump on those NewEgg deals fast, they usually only last 24 - 72 hrs.

I got mine on 11-5 for $49.99 w/ free HDMI cable worth $5, but no additional discount. Regardless I am excited to get it and I'm looking forward to future enhanced Internet access. I should be able to give my HTPC a break soon.

Nope . . . you lucked out!!  I went there on 11-6 and it was back to $79 with free shipping.  Certainly not a bad price but $50 is a GREAT price even though I have to pay sales tax on items from Newegg!  Congrats on getting a great deal!!

Sigh - - -  I guess I'll just have to keep a closer eye on Newegg!

Seems the FAT+ rarely goes on sale.  I kicked myself for not picking up one a few months ago when they were $50, but was lucky enough to pick up a spare this time.  It's good to see the new traffic on these boards and interest in this great device.

I will try and post when I see sales in the future - though I am not sure if Seagate is actually producing these any more since the GoFlex release.

Hi all - I just got my FAT+ with a 250GB drive for $59.99 + free shipping from the Seagate Outlet center. I'd seen it there a few months ago for that price and missed it. I ordered last Thursday or Friday, and it arrived Tuesday. A good deal if you can get it. 

OOPS - my bad. Appears I have the FAT HD Media Player Solution, not the FAT +. Sorry.
