I'm new to the FA Theater, but so far am pretty happy. One problem I'm having, though, is that when I'm navigating my video files, Theater seems to display lots of other files I'm not interested in and can't find. They appear to be temp files of some sort, but I don't see them when I'm browsing the drive from my computer. I can find more info about the files, if needed (e.g.., example names), but I'm guessing someone knows what's happening and can help me with this (or at least educate me).
Also, is there some way of forcing the unit to adhere to folder structure when displaying files? Sometimes I might like to see all videos independent of folder, but most of the time I'd prefer to limit it to a selected folder.
Finally, can I change the format of the display to just show text filenames? With the icon view, my filenames are truncated to the point that I sometimes have a hard time differentiating files.
Again, I'm new to the hardware, and this forum site, so if there is reference material out there I can review to answer my questions, feel free to point me in that direction.
Thanks,
Todd

I know that it's possible to find switch to list view in the Free Agent Theater Plus. However, I believe the original lacks that excellent feature. I haaaaate those previews. Not only do they make file names hard to read/find unless you name them in a way that promotes a natural order (think tv shows), but the loading of each pointless preview brings searching/scrolling to a halt.
I would love to see list mode added as an update.
Honestly I don't know why you wouldn't create a folder structure. Depending on the kind of movies...I would recommend downloading media renamer. It can help rename tv shows in a logical manner depending on the original filename and metadata. You should be able to search via folder. Rather than selecting to view videos using the original screen...highlight the drive you wish to search and hit the select button (you may need to double click), and you should see a list of folders. This will make everything much easier. I then recommend breaking down your vids into different folders. I follow this structure in my naming MyVideos/TV Shows/Program Name/Season....etc.
