I updated my FAT+ to FW 1.45 and since then I am not able to see Windows 7 PC in my Media Server option. I can see my NAS in it but not Win7 PC files.
I can see Win 7 files thru NETWORK but not thru MEDIA SERVER.
Kindly let me know what I need to do to see Win7 files.

Open Windows Media Player on your PC and make sure it is "Switch to Libray". Click on "Stream" at the top and make sure that there is check mark beside "Automatically allow devices to play my media...". Then Click on "More streaming options", a new window will pop up. Click on the box next to "Show devices on" and select "All networks". You should see "Unknow device", make sure that the box to the right says "Allow". If you scroll over "Unknown device" you will see "Customize..." & "Remove...", click on "Customize.." and a new window will pop up. Make sure that there is check mark in the box that says "Make all the media in my library available to this device" and under "Choose star ratings" choose All media and under "Choose parental ratings" choose All media.
If you don't see "Unknown device", shut down your PC, turn your FAT+ on then turn on your PC.
If it still doesn't work, you may need to re-flash your firmware using the Cold Method.

I am having a similar problem except I cannot see my Windows 7 laptop at all through FAT+. I can see another PC running Playon as a media server but cannot see laptop.
While making the changes in Media Player, I cannot even see the device (FAT+) though I can see my other media server.
