FreeAgent Theater and GoFlexTV

Hi

when i connect my 2TB Seagate GoFlex External Drive to Freeagent Threatre plus HD Media Player, the Media player reboots , that is power goes off and starts again , this repeats itself. and i am unable to watch any Media files stored on this 2TB drive.

I checked the same Freeagent Threatre plus with my other 1tb seagate hard drive it works as expected, 

I can browse the Media files on my 2TB drive using my Windows Laptop.

Any suggestion to get my 2TB External Drive to work with Freeagent threatre plus HD will be appreciated,

Try hooking up the drive to a pc and delete the .theater folder you see there.

Thanks Terabyte. 

Solution :

1. Scan disk with chkdsk /f , reboot windows , this will Fix Freeagent 2TB Errors if any,

2. Delete .torrent file (hidden file) , connect to Freeagent HD Media Player, this will now create a new .Torrent file. Important wait for sometime before clicking any Media File, Around 5 mins, this is important because this will re-index all the files in the hard drive. the circle sign displayed indicates index process is going on and wait for sometime .

And don't you mean the .theater folder?  Not the .torrent folder - that may be unique to just you.

the folder name is .theatre and not .torrent , my typo error
