FreeAgent Theater and GoFlexTV

 I just updated my firmware and setup my Windows 7 computer sharing my pictures, videos etc. as a media server.

 I can access the files when I browse thru mediaserver and pic my WIndows 7 computer.

 However, when I start viewing pictures, I get maybe 20 or 30 pictures viewed and then my

 GoFlex freezes up. I cannot even power it off with the remote, I have to unplug it in order to

 get it to restart....very painful.

Is this the result of new firmware or has this always been an issue?

Hey, same issue that I've raised previously (among other issues) with no replies + this is a raised issue under 'New Firmware bugs' I beleive...Whether you plug a drive directly to the GoFlex, via network or Media servers, this always happens. At first I thought it was particular pictures, but the unit will lock up after a couple of dozen pics!

Don't hold your breath.

Mine startd locking up after the update on slideshows that worked before.

Its been broken since the update.

I opened a ticket and they say basically' yes we are aware and we are working on it'
