Just got a goflex cinema and pretty happy with it. However I am getting intermitten problems with the DTS sound track via the optical cable going into my YAMAHA amp. Using the same video file I get either perfect sound, corrupted sound (white nose), broken sound (bit of voice missing) and delayed sound (lip-sync issue). When it is working the sound is pretty good but the problem seem to be pretty random as to when it will happen. When the machine is first switched on it will work most time and it nearly always fails after a fast forward. This points to me as most likely a firmware bug. BTW DD5.1 works perfectly all the time.
I have also got some files that I can see in the preview window (the small window on the top right while browsing the files) but when I try to play it said there is no video stream and I can only hear the sound.
Sorry for posting here but there isn't a dedicated forum for the goflex cinema. Also the support page doesn't allow you to choose the goflex cinema so it is pretty hard for me to raise any issues with this product.
