how many inputs of HDMI does your TV have ?
i assume you have used up your SCART or component TV inputs by the VCR
Do you have an Audio/Video Receiver ?

Its kind of hard to answer this question without knowing what you have available to you. You said you have a tv, vcr, and a dish network reciever connected; and the tv has no HDMI input? Does the tv have component input open? What about the dish reciever and/or vcr? Do they have available input? Most of the newer dish recievers will at least have one input to allow for connections like this.
You probably have options but without knowing the whole story its hard to say exactly.

Assuming, from what you have said, that you have an older TV and you don't have any RCA inputs on your VCR or on your dish reciever and assuming that you have at least one set of RCA inputs on your TV, then you will need to get a Video Switcher, llke this HERE.

Yup i agree ... your options is as following
1 - Un-hook the VCR ... you do not need it connecting all the time do you ! and have the FAT+ connecting through RCA
2 - Get an A/V selector like what have stated in Tinwable msg
3 - Get a nice Audio Video Reciever and connect everything to it , and then connect the AVR to your TV via RCA
4 - Get New LCD with multiple HDMI I/P and component...
5 - Do both solution 3 & 4 and you will be with a smile on your face for a long time.

I do have rca on tv and vcr and satellite receiver. Also have composite video and s-viteo switch. I tried them all in every which way but nothing works. Short of buying a new tv, is there any way I can get this to work? Thank you.

This is a component and composite video and audio switcher with remote control:
You can connect the FAT composite A/V, the VCR composite A/V, and the Sat composite A/V to this switch, and the composite A/V output from this switch to the TV.

Does it work if you just hook up the FAT to your TV via the RCA inputs?
