Hi,
I am in Australia and have a GoFlex TV box and I just bought the Seagate wifi adapter. The wifi adapter picks up through the TV box and finds wireless networks to choose from. My wifi setup doesn't broadcast my SSID and the instructions advise to type it in when setting up the wifi on the TV box. But I'm not given an option for that.
It shows a wifi connection without an SSID in the list of connections is finds, which I assume is mine and then I get prompted for the key, which I enter in, but then after the connection is tested it goes back to the setup screen with Wireless Off.
Any ideas on how to enter in my SSID?
Thanks,
Emmskii.

Sorry, I have a wired connection but I will give you my opinion. First thing I would try is broadcasting your ssid on your router - connect to it from the GoFlex and verify the internet connection is working - then turn off the broadcasting on your router.

Thanks, that is exactly the problem I had. The Wifi setup instructions are not clear on where to type in the SSID name. They should specify they mean to broadcast the SSID on the wireless router, then setup the seagate wifi and then turn the visibility off on the SSID on the wireless router again.
Thanks again!
Emma. =)
