So I'm sure most of you by now have seen that Netflix has consolidated their TV series listings. It used to be that each season of a TV series was its own individual title (so, for example, adding the entirety of Buffy the Vampire Slayer to your instant queue would eat up 7 slots). Now, they've combined them, so each TV series is its own title, with each season contained within (so now, adding Buffy the Vampire Slayer takes up only 1 slot, with all 7 seasons contained within).
There's a problem with this, though. I'm not sure if this has been a FAT+ problem for a while and only just became apparent with this consolidation, or if this is a new issue caused by the consolidation, but my FAT+ simply refuses to show any more than the first 100 episodes of a series.
This isn't a problem for series that have less than 100 episodes (obviously), like Battlestar Galactica or Futurama. It becomes a major issue when you're trying to watch the entirety of a show that has more than 100 episodes.
This means that, on my FAT+, it's now impossible to watch the entirety of (from my own queue): Angel, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Babylon 5, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Family Guy, The Kids in the Hall, King of the Hill, Lost, MacGyver, Married... with Children, Mission: Impossible, Monk, The Office (U.S.), Roseanne, Rugrats, Saturday Night Live, Scrubs, South Park, That '70s Show, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Top Gear (U.K.), The Twilight Zone, and The X-Files.
And I can 100% confirm that for each of these shows, Netflix DOES have the episodes that don't show up on the FAT+ available for instant streaming.
So, is there any chance of a firmware update to fix this, or is it Netflix's issue?

I just confirmed this on my FAT+ with 2.23 firmware too. Since Netflix was a major reason I chose the FAT+ over other products, I hope Seagate will release a firmware fix. Streaming "most" of a season doesn't really cut it.
I would also suggest giving Netflix a call and give them some feedback on this recent change. Adding single seasons used to work fine, so maybe they can make single season vs. all episodes a display option tied to your account.
Between Seagate and Netflix techs I hope they can work out a fix for this.

Well, I heard about a workaround and tested it, but it's not perfect.
If you go to your browser and play an episode >100, then the FAT+ seems to let you resume that episode and play some of the following episodes.
The problem is once you do that, the episodes are incorrectly renumbered to fit in a list of 100 and some earlier episodes are removed from the FAT+ episode listing.
I also have another Netflix player and once I got a later >100 episode to resume playing on the FAT+, the series would NOT play at all on the other player. No episodes listed, just an error. To fix it, I had to go back to the FAT+ and play a much earlier episode (although still incorrectly numbered on the FAT+).
Seagate and Netflix definitely need to talk about a fix or reversion to the old system of single season listings.

I'm having the same issue.
Right now I can't watch all of Star Trek: The Next Generation because of the 100 episode limit. The same goes with SpongeBob Square Pants. Both stop at episode 100 for me.
I don't know if the issue is with netflix or with seagate's fat+. If I have time I'll look into it later today with a proxy server and see if I can decipher the playlist data that netflix sends back.

Still no luck with episodes over 100. I have friends who want a device like mine but I can't reccomend them to get a seagate FAT+.
I looked at the networked traffic but only some of it was unencrypted. The unencrypted part was this:
