Yep, you get what you get.  None fo the devices do it all at this point, and we are so early in the adoption/diffusion curve it's not surprising that what works for one person doesn't work for another. I wouldn't hold my breath, while the mods do look over the board, it doesn't mean the engineers/sofware developers do.  Seems like lack of support in this regard is not exclusive to either Seagate or the WD.

 

You don't need a freeagent drive, just an external USB-connected drive.

Boy, something is off there.  First it shouldn't take that long to connect.  Second, it shouldn't be grainy.  What formats are you trying to play?
