First, just got this product from BestBuy and I'm enjoying it so far. I also bought a Netgear and Western Digital HD to kind of compare and contrast. So far so good here though. So hopefully I'm wording this right when I ask this question.
So I created a share folder on Windows, and the Freeagent Theater sees it and all works well. And I see you can create shortcuts so you can easily get to menus instead of having to go to Workgroups, then the Computer then the Folder Share. But I was hoping that you could create shortcuts and put them in the Home Screen Menus. For instance my C:\Videos folder on Windows is shared. I'd like it so I could create a shortcut on the FreeAgent and place it in the Videos Section instead of having to go to Devices then Shortcuts then to the folder. If I could create shortcuts in each of the menus (Video, Music, Pictures), that would be awesome.
Anyone know if this is possible, or do I always have to go through Devices to reach my shortcuts?

I'd second this request. This would save a lot of menu clicks. I've removed the administrative shares and renamed mine so that they show at the top, but it still takes five or six clicks to get to the videos.

Exactly. Movies, music, photos links should have possibility to add shortcut pointing to specific directory on specific computer.

Yep, would love to see it too.
I am not holding my breath, it's been a feature request for a while.

Hi guys,
Don't mean to hijack the thread. But I see that you guys have successfully shared files on the computer for the FAT+ to access. I can see my shared folders, but for some reason, I can't view the content of these folders. Can someone help me? Thanks.
