How do I get video previews with Free Agent Theater +?
I'm using it with a 1 Tb hard drive in an external USB dock. I record TV shows on my computer hard drive using a tuner card. They are HD video files in MPEG-2 format. I transfer them from my computer to the 1 TB drive using an external dock. Then I take the HD into the living room and plug it into the dock attached to the Free Agent Theater +. Videos appear in a list or as thumbnail icons (no actual image thumbnails) and play fine, but there is no preview. I have to actually start the video to see if I've already watched it or not.
Can't find any menu selections to turn previews on or off. It's connected to my TV with an HDMI cable.

What do you mean by preview?
Do you want the thumbnail to appear?

The FAT+ doesn't support video previews, you can either have lists or coverart (thumbnails) show up. If you want a video preview image, what you have to do is to take a snapshot of the video on your PC, then save it as an image using the same name as the name of your video. Then on the FAT+ select Movies, then on the remote press Menu and select "View Thumbnails" on the drop down list.
