i cant beleive they finally made a fix!!!

I recieved an email from Seagate support asking about 1.00.18. their tech department doesnt know about this update..

Funnily enough it was passed on by seagate technical support in wales united kingdom. there must be a few support centres around the world. and no one is communicating properly it would seem.

I too have had the royal runaround with seagate seeking the 1.00.17 or 1.00.18 firmware upgrade.  Would you please send it to me in a zip file?   It would really make my day.
