Hello,
I have been using my Theater+ for about a year now. All of a sudden, I am facing a strange problem.
When I play a movie (any format).. it works great for half hour. I can pause, stop. forward, rewind.. all is good.
After about half an hour of play, the remote does not work. It would not do anything. I have to take off power cable and put it back in order for the Theater+ to respond.
Any clues?

Please make sure your FreeAgent Theater + has the most recent firmware installed:

Let me know how that works out.

I have latest firmware. I think firmware might have broken it.
Where can I get it repaired? Or atleast get an estimate for repair?

Hi there I am having the same problem, did you find a solution or is there anyone else out there who can help? This unit have been working fine for 2 years up until now!!

Can I also say I have reinstalled the latest firmware last night and the same problem. The remote function perfectly in the first 10 to 15 minutes then it seem when nothing has been pushed for a while the player ceases to respond to the remote. I have new batteries, tried the wifi iphone remote which also works at the start. Not sure what to do now
