Hi,
I've got the player and suddenly excited about upating the firmware from 1.45 APAC to 2.20 APAC then latest 2.23 APAC version. At first, (1.45) played the video great with subtitle and all.
But then the latest version (2.23 APAC) just make the video (in USB drive) play around 5 minute and then the subtitle suddenly hang but the video still continue, i've tried to stop the video but i seems the controller had mulfunction. The only way to stop the video is by unplugged the USB containing the video and subtitle.
I've just got frustrated and start to revert to (2.20) but this is what happen:
USB Method: After selecting 'on' in USB setting, it just shut down and doesn't go to the 'Logo' Screen and just stayed black.
Cold Method: After plugged the power while pressing the 'RESET' button it doesn't go to the 'Seagate Logo' screen either.
It's seems that i couldn't do anything to revert the firmware, and may end up watching Chinese, korean or japan movies without understand anything their saying. owooh!
Anyone out there having the same problem as me please share. (or at least give me a way to work around this problem)
