I just purchased a Free Agent Theatre HD (ST902503CEA1E1-RK).
I have a Free Agent Desk 1.5TB external (ST315005FDB2E1-RK) that i have been using for some time for storing my movies etc.
Installed the software that came with the Theatre HD and the Sync program sees both drives as TARGETdrives (I can select either one) but only shows my C: drive as a SOURCE drive. My C: drive is small and it would be a pain to transfer stuff twice.
Is there a way around this? An update to the sync software? I have looked but can't find one. Seems silly to design their software this way.

I agree it would be very nice to have the ability to do this in the Sync software. In fact,
It would be very important to have, because everybody nowadays has an external drive
conected their laptop. I guess the tool was designed for non-tech users so they must have
tried to make it as simple as possible! But they forgot that this is a must have capability,
once people start using this daily.
Here is a way around it, if you're familiar with Windows XP. You can map an external drive to a
directory in your local C: drive. After the mapping, your external drive would appear just
as a directory in your C drive. And then you would be able to sync from there. It should
work as far as I can tell from my experience mapping drives to directory before.
