Recently I have this headache. My FAT+ not able to "see" any videos I store on my hdd. When I select "Browse", the top left part would show "USB (Music)". If I select "Movies" on the Home menu, it would show "No movies currently available", where in fact I'm able to see it if i plugged into the computer.
Im currently on Firmware 2.2 APAC version. I've tried resetting, cold upgrade, even reinstalling the firmware, but it is still the same.
Previously everything went well, since i bought it frm firmware 1.45 itself.
Any kind souls out there, care to help me what went wrong?

there is a "hidden" file called .theater - it is the media index and is written/recreated to the usb device each time the FAT+ is started. Try deleting this file from your usb drvice and let the fat+ recreate it/

@evilg14,
You need to go to the Menu, Browse, and select "Show All Media". That will index all files Music, Movies, and Pictures.

Thanks bodhi78! You're a life saver. Thought my FAT+ would have gone being a nice paper weight...
