Hi Guys,
I have some WMV files. They are not played thru DEVICES/USB but are playing in MEDIA SERVIES with very low video quality.
Please let me know what is wrong and how I can get to play these files.
Thanks,

You might want to share a little more info.
Are you playing WMV files through network, or on a drive directly connected to the FAT+?
If you are playing over the network, is it wireless or wired?
What version of firmware do you have?
What exactly do you mean by "WMV file not playing thru DEVICES but playing in MEDIA SERVER". Do you mean that it won't play thru DEVICES, but will play through Media Server?
More info helps in debugging your problem.

Thanks Tinwable for your reply. Here is more info.
I am on firmware 1.27.
My primary problem is that WMV is not playing thru DEVICES / FOLDER with USB drive connected to FAT+. I want to play MMV from USB drive using DEVICES / FOLDER. It does not play at all. FAT+ can play the same file using media server with degraded video quality. So if I am able to play the file using DEVICES / FOLDER, I am good.
I am on wireless network and also tried using NETWORK / FOLDER with no success.

It sounds like the problem is because the FAT+ can't play that WMV file. When the media server plays the file, it streams the video (i.e. it uses its own video codecs processing, therefore the bad PQ). When playing through Devices/Folder, the FAT+ streams the file, so that seems to me that the FAT+ has difficulty dealing with the video file.
I'd suggest: trying a different WMV file, reconvert that file to the same format using a video conversion tool, or convert that file to a different format. If successful in any one of these tests, then we'll know it's the video file itself was causing problem.

Kindly confrim back that by using the same method described , you are able to play MP3 files !!!
make sure in the top menu that you are browsing for all media files and not set to movies only.

You can try converting you WMV videos to MP4 or MKV using HANDBRAKE.
