Anyone know how to solve double tumbnails in the movie list?
I have many movies on here and only had something like this once before i think wierdness.
All was ok untill recently I plugged in a 2nd USB kery with a dvd video movie on it (video_ts) foler and all went nuts.
I've erased the .Theater folder many times and no luck.
I think I may ahve to remove all files and put them back slowly to the device but usually adding stuff to the device means you haveto remove the .theater folder anyways since the indexing is cr*p.
Any ideas?
ps actually using the goflextv with internal drive.

When you go to Menu -> Browse, do you have 'Show all Media' selected? Maybe you need to just Show Movies (or whatever the non-all-inclusive option is). I am just throwing that out there - I rarely use an attached usb drive. I know you know your way around the device - odd that is just showed up - cold reinstall of firmware (if it's on the GF end)? You running 2.23?

i think it just happens when you have to many movies. it happened once before. i just do not feel like moving all the files off and onagain slowly..grr

I recall that the thumbnails were cached, and you'll just need to clear them. I don't remember exactly where, probably under dvdplayer directory.

Well, this is what I see.
I tried removing the bookmark.sdb. I did not want to remove all the files just incase.
Maybe I'll try and see. if not i'll have to cold flash this thing back to normal and start from scratch...grr

im the Process of solving ....
look for an edit [here]
1) I opened up the stx.db in sqlitebrowser_200_b1_win , and notices something EVIL
the same files are listed 2 times , one in the partition for my files and one in my EXT3 formatted partition.
2) So, the bug is in the indexing either for having more than one partition on the harddrive itself.... or....just perhaps an ext3 partition.
3) trying to edit that , or perhaps i'll try to hid the partition then reindex.

ok, AFter examining the stx.db (sqllight database) in the.Theater folder, I can confirm that,
in my case , having 2 partitions on the same HD is not good. there were 2 partition entires (normal i guess) but each file was duplicated in its listing, thinking it was on the other partition as well.
FIX: Delete the 2nd partition
, which was a EXT2 btw.
delete .Theater folder
reboot..
one thumbnail now ![]()
