Hi.  I want to update my firmware on my free agent plus, but before I do is there anyway to extract the current firmware from the free agent?.  I believe it is pretty old, 1.14 or something, but it works.  i want it just in case the update doesn't work or something.  I saw the oldest here on the forum is 1.24 I believe.  Thanks for any advice.

I'm  fairly sure that there is no way to extract your 1.14 FW.  But you shouldn't have any problems with the 1.45 FW (US version) 1.45 FW (EMEA version), or 1.45 FW (APAC version) as long as you make sure to install it using the Cold Method.  If you do have problems, just install the 1.26 FW, you can get it here,US version,  APAC version, EMEA version.

Also, I'm sure a lot of users here keep old FW files just incase. So if you need to reflash an old version like 1.27 or 1.24 then just post the request here.

Guys, thanks for the replies.  I have downloaded and saved FW 1.24, - 1.27 from the forum here, and 1.45, all US version.  If I update the FW, what version do you think is most stable and/or less buggy at the moment?  Thanks.
