How about not being able to activate my Paragon? Everytime I get to that point the tab is not lit up to activate. It seems that the software is not sensing my external drive. Please help!

AlanM, thanks for this summary. I have the GoFlex Desk for Mac 2T. I've had all the mounting / sleeping / disk needs reformatted / etc. errors from this thing since day one, which was March 24, 2012. Everything I've read in the other topics posed in the community forums say NOT to install any of the Seagate software, it just makes matters worse for this unit.  Now I'm really unsure what to do with this thing, doesn't work, no clear and solid fix for getting it working, and I suppose the worst thing is now my MacBook Pro doesn't even recongnize it. What do you / Seagate suggest I do??  Thanks very mch for any current help you can provide.

Every video file I copied to my new external hard drive plays in Slow Motion except FLV files,but they will not FForward.

It took 24 hours to copy over 100 videos but none will play correctly,they worked fine on my original external and it took a lot less time to copy them.

I guess it's a lot easier to put a Link To Nowhere than it is to fix a problem that your drives have had since 2009

I'm having this problem on my Mac, as are many other people. If you don't, I am returning this drive to Costco and urge them to discontinue selling your products.
