Go Flex Desk will read on Windows 7 but not on Windows XP

I have a 1TB USB3.0 Extermal drive and I can read it on a laptop with Windows 7 OS but not on my desk top that has Windows XP.

Could you please be more specific? What do you mean that you can't read it?
Does it not appear anywhere? Like in My Computer?
