Badly done seagate, badly done. I just purchased a Seagate 2TB GoFlex Desk and it doesn't work well with Ubuntu. The drive does not show up unless I remove and reconnect the USB cable physically, at which point it works. Restarting the computer is no help either. Basically, every time I need to used the drive, I have to physically remove and reinstert the USB cable.
I did connect the drive to a windows machine, install the software and set sleep to "Never", this has not helped me at all.
