Hi, I purchased a 1 TB GoFlex Desk drive about a year ago (or less) and I never had problems with it until today.
My PC's (Win xp sp2, Win Vista and a Win xp sp3) don't recognize the drive anymore. It seems that it doesn't exist.
In the drive there's only one blue light that is on (the activity light) the others lights are off (capacity gauge).
I tried using other Usb wires without success (I don't have the usb 3 upgrade). The AC adapter seems to be fine, cause when I plug the adapter, two of the gauge lights blink for about a second, suddenly they are all off (with the exception of the activity light, of course).
Thanks for your time.

Please first try our external troubleshooter listed below to see if this helps to get your drive recognized properly:
If your external drive is still not recognized please make sure drive is used on a main USB port directly to your computer and not through any hub, docking station, keyboard or monitor port. Also verify you have the latest USB chipset drivers installed for your system. Please reference the following support article for more details:

i just fixed mine, try unhooking all the wires from the outlet, the device, and computer also removing the adapter found on the bottom. then simply reconnect everything and it should turn on! dont ask me why..i just got lucky i guess
