I love my portable drive, and I've been using it for 6 months, between a desktop WinVista at my office and a Win7 laptop at home. Yesterday, I carried the drive home from the office (where it was working fine), and noticed the USB cable had disconnected from the drive. I plugged it into the laptop (where it has also been working fine for months), but now the drive has vanished from the Explorer. The drive light does not come on, but I can feel the drive is spinning.
I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting, restarting the computer, etc. No change.
Anyone have a suggestion?
