I've read the forums quite a lot but can't seem to find anything which will fix my issue.
I resotred to packing my NAS into a box for the last year or so as it was WAY too slow. I've now decided to either get this one working or buy another from another company (not whining, just saying that it wasn't the easy one-click setup I was sold ;-)
Info:
Target PC - 64bit version of Windows 7 Ultimate
- Connection to router - Wireless
NAS - GOFLEX Home 2TB
- Connection to router - Wired
- Running the latest firmware/software
Router- Not 100% sure of model (got it from Sky a few days ago.. SACRILAGE!!)
- It's Wireless N
Transfering - 1.13MB /S
That is the maximum speed with nothing else connected to the router and nothing interacting with the GoFlex drive. Transferring using Windows Explorer on the Windows 7 machine, copying from the NAS to the PC.
ANY help you could give me really would be appreciated, I know other people don't have this issue so I'm hoping you can just point me at something (not the cable, already replaced it!) and I'll have a great priced NAS which works!! :-)
