I have synced this drive with both a Mac (Mountin lion) and a windows machine (Windows 7 x64) just to make sure the problem was not me. I synced all my 15,000 songs. When I disconnect and turn on the drive and turn on the wireless, I then connect my ipad and all I get is a long list of file names with an unknown album and and unknown artist with no album art. This make the music sharing aspect of this drive pointless because I cannot scroll through 15,000 file names looking for a song name which may be different than the file name. Therefore, right now, this drive is a total rip off.
When I use the script under my mac to sync the playlists and files from itunes, I ALWAYS get the error
GetCTracklistForCollection error Can't get last character of "".
And i when I got to mu ipad I see all the playlists, but they are empty. All this to say again, this drive is a RIP OFF.
I have updated to the latest firmware.
The sample pictures and music display correctly, but not things that I sync. So if I cannot use my own media, what is the point.
fix this NOW!!!
