GoFlex drive shows up in Mac Disk Utility, but won't recognize

My GoFlex 750MB drive can't be mounted by my MacBook Pro, or Mac Mini.  It shows up in Disk Utility, but if I try to access it, Disk Utility just hangs.  Drive worked perfectly until today.  Sometimes, I can get it so show an empty "GoFlex" folder, but can't mount the drive.

Mine will show up in Disk Utility but won't show up anywhere else at all.  I tried to fix it on my own, have used findfile and deleted everything, but still can't get it to work :smileysad: I have ran first aid on the disk several times, but it gets about 1/2 way through and quits. I have let it go for several days and it just sits there ...

What type of drive do you have and what type of connection are you using? Is the drive usb 3.0?

Does it give you an error message when first aid stops running?

To all users: If your data is stored ONLY on an external hard drive, then it is NOT a backup. A BACKUP is having the data stored in TWO or MORE locations. If it is only in ONE location, you don't have a backup at all. If the data is important to you, then have it stored in multiple locations to prevent data loss.
