GoFlex, GoFlex Desk, GoFlex Pro, GoFlex Slim, & GoFlex Turbo

Hey everyone,

New here, just got a GoFlex and I'm trying to backup my main drive, but Memeo is just taking forever for some reason. I set it to start with my MP3 folder, but it's taking about 4-5 seconds per file (MP3). After 10 minutes or so, I'm at roughly 100 files backed up (and these are only a couple MB a piece).

Copying to the drive myself is fine.. am I doing something wrong with the backup software?

Also, by default it saved it to:

M:\Backup\2010-09-17_23-32-38\Memeo\2010-09-17_23-32-38\K_\Music

I'd like it to be saved to:

M:\Music

Is there a way to do this, or does it need the long sub-folder structure?

Hi MiRSD,

The time it takes to back up will definitely take longer than manually copying over since the software does need to track it in the database.  I'd advise that you let the software run and do it's thing until it has completed.  In regards to backing up to your music folder, you can select that folder as the target area but the subfolders will still be created as it is part of the structure.
