By default, the memeo automatically selects the C drive...which it will back up all of the pictures, music, docs, vids, etc from all of the C drive folders that it can....
Make sure you delete the backup plan and choose the folders before pressing "start backup" OR...(this would be my recommendation) try Seagate Manager.
It allows you to go in and choose specifically which folders you want and don't want to be included in the backup. It is still focused on getting the same types of files as memeo (pics, docs, vids, etc) but there's some more customization to it. Only other thing to it is that it runs on a schedule vs continuously but you can run a backup at any time by pressing the backup now button in the backup tab.
To all users: If your data is stored ONLY on an external hard drive, then it is NOT a backup. A BACKUP is having the data stored in TWO or MORE locations. If it is only in ONE location, you don't have a backup at all. If the data is important to you, then have it stored in multiple locations to prevent data loss.
