Is there a way to protect entry into the drive by setting or assigning a password? My WD external hard drive has this feature and I thought it would be standard. I am in need of setting a password just to gain access to the drive. (If not, how do you set password protection for individual files?)
I need it so if I lose it in an airport or something I will feel confident my files aren't easily accessible to whomever may find it. I have never lost one but not to say it couldn't happen and it's troublesome knowing this drive is not protected. This website (sucks) is not easy to find answers to simple questions...
