Problem cleaning up GoFlex

Hi,

I've been using GoFlex with Replica software installed for a couple of months. I have recently switched computers and wanted to clean out the old backed up files from the my external harddrive. After deleting all backed up folders the harddrive still shows only 384 GB free out of 1.81 TB. I hae changed my Windows settings to view the hidden files and still can't figure out why the harddrive is so clogged up. The only files that are still on it are the original files that came with the product.

What can I do to clean up the HD?

Have you looked at this knowledge base article to see if it resolves the issue?

Re: Problem cleaning up GoFlex

right-click the drive in explorer and select properties. click disk cleanup. It will show the recycle bin where the deleted files are. Click OK to empty the recycle bin and recover the drive space.

For the sake of your own health and sanity, if your data is important to you, keep a second copy on another storage (a backup)
