1. What is the rotational speed of the GoFlex Desk 3 TB?
2. I cloned another external WD 3 TB drive (which had only data in a single partition) to the GoFlex and therefore lost the original Seagate NTFS partition. The new Seagate Partition and NTFS parameters are shown in the attached pdf file. What were the original parameters? Were they the same?
3. The drive is working fine after the cloning. However, I am asking about the parameters in #2 above because when I check the directory properties (e.g. the size of all the directories) it takes about 30% longer to calculate compared to my other (WD) 3TB external hard drive (both use USB 3.0). (In contrast, when I run Window 7’s Winsat I get Disk Sequential 64.0 Read= 122.77 MB/s for Seagate but only 97.75 MB/s for WD)
