USB Mass Storage Device Driver Failed

When I startup my computer with my drive connected to power and USB 3 the drive fails to load the Mass Storage Device driver.  If I have either cable unplugged, login to my profile, then connect the cable it works fine.

Windows 7 Pro x64

16GB RAM

AMD Athlon II X4 645

MSI 970A-G46 mainboard

AsMedia USB 3.0

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Re: USB Mass Storage Device Driver Failed

I am having the exact same problem with my two GoFlex 3TB drives.  I'm getting sick of having to unplug and replug them in.  I've also tried reinstalling the Intel USB drivers.

Brand new build. 3770, 8GB 1600 ram, Raid 0 SSDs, Gigabyte Z77 motherboard.  This is the one flaw I seem to be having.

Re: USB Mass Storage Device Driver Failed

Discovered the power settings inside DiscWizard. Made no difference. And still no power tab in Device Manager. Also tried turning on ErP in bios... no effect.

Dashboard, not DiskWizard.
